Are the cloth diaper covers absorbent?
No. This is the most important thing to understand before buying a cover. The Gray Waterproof Plastic Pants are leak prevention only — there is no absorbent core, so they are worn over a diaper or a liner. The High-Waist Blue Rubber Pants carry a lightly absorbent crotch lining of roughly 0.5 oz as a backup, not as primary protection.
If you want absorbency built into the garment, that is the Leakproof Boxer Briefs — up to 6 fl oz (180 ml) in total.
How much liquid do the boxer briefs actually hold?
They take in 3 fl oz (90 ml) quickly and hold up to 6 fl oz (180 ml) in total — our stated capacity for light to moderate bladder leaks, dribbles and urine leakage through a full workday or overnight.
Two built-in side leak guards and a curved absorbent channel run front to back, rather than relying on a single centre pad.
Will people hear them?
Quiet operation is the entire reason we don't use PVC. Our covers are built from a skin-friendly TPU shell or a cotton-rubber blend, both of which move silently. The boxer briefs use a soft mesh absorbent surface and a trim cut that doesn't read as protective underwear under jeans or slacks.
How long can I wear one before changing?
For the covers, our guidance is within 8 hours per wear when paired with an absorbent pad. You change the diaper or liner as you normally would — the cover is there to catch what gets past it.
For the boxer briefs, 3 fl oz is taken in fast and 6 fl oz is the total capacity, which covers a typical workday or a night for light to moderate leaks.
How do I wash them?
Gray Waterproof Plastic Pants: machine wash at low temperature, or tumble dry on low heat. If you notice odor, soak for 30 minutes in a mix of 0.5 oz white vinegar and 1 oz detergent.
High-Waist Blue Rubber Pants: machine wash in cold water (below 90°F), tumble dry low. For odor, soak 30 minutes in 0.25 cup vinegar and 0.5 cup detergent.
Leakproof Boxer Briefs: machine wash cold and air dry fast, so they're ready for daily rotation at home or on a trip.
Do they really survive 200 washes?
Our reusable covers have been tested past 200 washes. That is the point of buying reusable: fewer disposables, less waste, and a lower cost per wear over the life of the garment.
How do I choose a size?
Measure your thigh and your waist over the diaper or liner you normally wear, then check those numbers against our size guide. Use the height and weight table as a starting point, but if it disagrees with your thigh measurement, trust the thigh.
If you fall between two sizes, size up. A snug seal at the leg opening is what stops leaks.
Where can I buy, and can I buy here?
All Menpol products are sold on Amazon.com. You cannot buy on this website — we don't process payments, and there is no cart. Every product page has a "Buy on Amazon" button that goes to the exact colour, pack and size you selected.
Ordering, payment, shipping and returns are all handled by Amazon under Amazon's own policies.
Are these a medical device?
No. Menpol products are reusable leak-protection garments. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. They do not replace medical care. If you have a medical condition causing incontinence, please speak to a qualified healthcare professional.
Can I use them for moderate to severe incontinence on their own?
Not on their own. Both our covers and our absorbent briefs are designed to be used with a diaper or liner when needs are heavier — the garment catches what gets past the absorbent layer and protects bedding and clothing. For moderate to severe incontinence we always recommend that combination.
What if the fit is wrong when it arrives?
Returns are handled by Amazon under the Amazon return policy that applies to your order. Start the return from your Amazon account, and if you're unsure which size to try next, email us with your measurements and we'll tell you what we'd order.
